Australia core study

 We have signed up for Simply Homeschool and are presently working on the ‘A is for Australia’ core program, which we are all enjoying.  As the children range in age from nine down to four and two of them are Autistic, we are adapting some lessons to better suit their different abilities and special needs.  Grace worked on the Australian map lesson this week, a task which we adapted, and she has done wonderful work on it so far.  She traced a map of Australia, cut out the tracing paper, stuck it to a piece of cardboard and painted around the cut out to achieve the desired outcome.  Next week she will be continuing to add details and decorations to this poster!
